If you're not partial to the brand, Starkist is $.96 per can at both Walmart and HEB, and Hill Country Fare brand at HEB is the lowest at $.79.

You can take advantage of the savings and bulk buy.

Prep methods:

  • Wash, peel ,cut and parboil potatoes. Drain, portion into individual meals and freeze.

  • Make baked potatoes or twice baked potatoes as you normally would . Wrap and freeze individual potatoes. When ready to use, microwave for 4 minutes or toaster oven for 50 minutes.
