Classic recipe using canned ingredients and instant potatoes.
1
Tip
For a crispier topping, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes. Keep a close eye to prevent burning.
2
Variation
Try adding a dash of Worcestershire sauce to the beef mixture for added flavor!
Notes

1
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2
In a medium saucepan, heat canned ground beef and beef gravy over medium heat until well combined and warmed through. Stir occasionally.

3
Add the canned mixed vegetables to the beef and gravy mixture. Season with salt and pepper. Stir well and let simmer for 5 minutes.

4
Meanwhile, prepare the instant mashed potatoes as per package instructions, using milk and butter for a creamier texture.

5
In an ovenproof dish, spread the beef and vegetable mixture evenly at the bottom.

6
Top with the prepared instant mashed potatoes, spreading evenly to cover the entire surface.

7
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the mashed potatoes.

8
Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.

9
Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
